Body Sugaring
Sugaring is an ancient method of hair removal which uses all natural products—sugar, lemon juice and water! The method is painless and due to the anti-bacterial properties of sugar, it is safe to use. It does not cause skin irritation or sensitivity. Since it is water soluble, and due to the citric acid in the lemon, it does not build up residue on the skin, thus preventing the formation of ingrown hairs.
What is Body Sugaring?
Body Sugaring is a much gentler, safer, and truly progressive method of hair removal for all parts of the body. It is effective on all skin types and hair textures for both men and women. This unique sugaring technique extracts hair in the direction of natural hair growth safely without negative side effects, while eliminating discomfort.
What is the Paste Made Of?
This unique sugar paste is a blend of ALL natural ingredients: sugar, water, and a little bit of lemon juice. It has no chemical additives so there is no fear of any harmful side effects.
How is the Sugar Paste Applied and Removed?
Using our Advanced Sugaring Technique, the paste wraps around the hair shaft making it pliable, while seeping below the mouth of the follicle and lubricating the hair to make the extraction more complete and gentle. The hair is eased out of the follicle only in the natural direction of growth, which helps to extract the hair intact. Because of the direction of extraction the client feels little, if any discomfort.
What Parts of the Body Can Be Sugared?
All parts of the body can be safely sugared with the exception of eyelashes, inner ears, and beards.
What is the Overall Benefit?
Without the risk of burning, bruising or damaging delicate skin tissue, you are left with very soft, clean and hairless skin.
How Long Does the Hair Have To Be?
In order for you to get the best possible treatment your hair should be at least 1/4" long, but no longer than 1/2". About four days of growth is the ideal time to get sugared.
When Should Sugaring Not Be Done?
People should not be sugared if they are taking Retin-A, Retinol, or Acutane. They should also avoid areas where they have recently undergone a heavy chemical peel or microdermabrasion treatments. Other areas to be avoided include sunburned skin, inflamed veins, open sores , or warts.

**Hair growth for sugaring must be 1/4 to 1/2 an inch in length, no shorter, no longer.
